I love the way it sounds...
Katniss is Sagittaria sagittifolia--and what a wonderful name it makes.

You may feel you have come late, but you come with all the grace and depth any writer can possibly bring. I can't wait to see what you do.

I need to read The Hunger Games. I know the premise and have read page samples someplace. It's a wow.

A Resurrection of Magic is the first book idea I ever had--16 or so years ago. I had not prayer of writing it then, but I tried. So for me, writing fantasy is a homecoming. And my books are sociological and have two protagonists, two stories going back and forth. That's the joy of SF and Fantasy in this particular decade. Unconventional approaches--as well as the amazing premises--are more and more the norm.

Hope all is well with you and that 09 is bringing you all good things.

xoxokathleen dueyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01176852638727278256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33119505.post-36498144742186912182009-02-04T20:15:00.000-08:002009-02-04T20:15:00.000-08:00Euphorbia. How would that be for a character's nam...Euphorbia. How would that be for a character's name? I just finished reading The Hunger Games with Katniss Everdeen as the name of the female protagonist. Apparently the name of a plant. Loved the book. Wanted to change my whole way of being in the writing world. I come so late to fantasy. Still sort of tiptoeing in, like a kid in a candy store with no money in her pocket!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
