I am thinking about writing a book about writing.

I have two monster deadlines to meet.  After that, or during that, somehow, I am thinking very seriously about writing a book about writing. One that addresses both art and craft and treats them as lovers, partners, siblings, fraternal twins, BFF's.

I spent last week interacting with an MFA class whose teacher is a friend (the amazing Bonny Becker) and realized from the questions and my attempt to answer them.....that maybe there is a reason for me to write a book about writing.

!!!AND!!!  if I released it as a download-only, I would have very little tree-guilt.

(((This is the French Edition of Skin Hunger,
just released....)))

What a cool cover! Any hints on when the last book in Skin Hunger will be done?

I'd love to read a book about writing by you! (you seem like you have a bit of a different take on the process or what have you) But, um, mostly I'm just dying a little bit inside every second the 3rd Resurrection of Magic book isn't out. Any news on when it'll be available/done/out?

I had to fit in other stuff: the four Faerie's Promise books and two other smaller projects and have just finished a middle-grade novel which is with my agent now.

So, I am back to Limori full time. writing most of every day, all day and into the silence of the night.

I don't know when it will be done, or released. ASAP is the best I can do for now. I want it to be brilliant, which is sometimes paralyzing, but always kind of in the background... So far, I think it IS. Fortunately, others will read it before too much longer and they will tell me the truth.

Thank you. All of you. And all the others online reaching me on FB or Twitter, or through my website... More and more people from France and Germany and Poland and India and the Philippines--everywhere there are translations, or enough English speakers--are getting in touch and it's...wonderful.

I'm with S.S. Love that cover. A book about writing would be great. And saving another tree, nice.

Yes, please. :o)
Not all authors seem to have valuable things to say about writing, but I believe you do. I would buy it.
